| DFJ Gotham Ventures Promotes Thatcher Bell to Managing Director July 23, 2012 (NEW YORK, NY) – DFJ Gotham Ventures, an early-stage technology venture capital firm based in New York, today announced the promotion of Thatcher Bell to Managing Director. Mr. Bell was previously a Principal at the firm; he will join founding Managing Directors Ross Goldstein and Danny Schultz. “Thatcher has demonstrated the ability to find and partner with leading entrepreneurs to build successful companies,” said Mr. Goldstein. “This is an exciting time for DFJ Gotham. Given the rapidly increasing start-up formation in New York and our plans to accelerate our investing pace over the next couple of years, we are thrilled to have Thatcher expand his role at DFJ Gotham.” Bell joined DFJ Gotham in 2005 and focuses on investments in software, internet, financial technology, and digital marketing. He brings a decade of experience in venture capital investing, along with startup operating and consulting experience, to his new role. Bell has led a number of investments for the firm, including its investment in SinglePlatform, which was recently acquired by Constant Contact (NASDAQ: CTCT). He currently serves on the boards of ADstruc, Fynanz, Lumeta, and Widetronix and represents DFJ Gotham’s investments in Sailthru, EXPO and Verterra. Mr. Bell also serves on the Board of Directors of the NY Tech MeetUp, is Co-Chair of the New York chapter of Wharton Private Equity Partners, and is a co-organizer of Penn Digital. “As with the startups we back, our team is DFJ Gotham’s most important asset,” Mr. Schultz added. “Thatcher is a consummate team player.
